CBSE CTET July 2023 Examination Eligibility Criteria Code Details

CTET Primary Level (Class I to V) Eligibility Criteria with Code
  • Senior Secondary (50% marks) + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
  • Senior Secondary (45% marks) + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (NCTE 2002 Norms) OR
  • Senior Secondary (50% marks) + 4-year B.El.Ed. OR
  • Senior Secondary (50% marks) + 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree (50% marks) + B.Ed (from NCTE recognized institution) + Mandatory 6-month Bridge Course in Elementary Education (within 2 years of appointment) OR
  • Post-Graduation (55% marks) + 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.

CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII) Eligibility Criteria with Code
  • Bachelor’s Degree + Passed or currently enrolled in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by any name). OR
  • Minimum 50% marks in Graduation or Post-Graduation + Passed or currently enrolled in a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR
  • Graduation with at least 45% marks + Passed or currently enrolled in a 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) following NCTE norms. OR
  • Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks + Passed or currently enrolled in a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
  • Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks + Passed or currently enrolled in a 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. OR
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks + Passed or currently enrolled in a 1-year B.Ed. / (B.Ed Special Education). OR
  • Any candidate who has completed a recognized B.Ed. Programme by the NCTE is eligible for TET/CTET. OR
  • Post-Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade + Passed or currently enrolled in the final year of a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
